Articles in Press (AiP)

An 'Article in Press' is an early access version of an accepted, peer-reviewed manuscript that has a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and can be viewed, shared, and cited.   An Article in Press is provided to accelerate access to findings while final edits, checks, and layout are being completed. The manuscript may be subject to further editing, as errors affecting the content may be discovered during the final production process.

Indexing services do not index Articles in Press if they are not the VoR.

Articles in Press are not sent to indexers. Springer Nature will send the final version once the article has been published version of record.
