Reference Works in Google Scholar

Google Scholar has confirmed that reference works are generally not intended to be indexed, as the platform scope is focused on scholarly research articles. Because the indexing process is fully automated, some reference works may occasionally be indexed inadvertently.

However, the Google Scholar team does not fulfill requests to manually add or correct reference works that are missing from the database.
